BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â A Buffalo man who fled to Puerto Rico is accused of sexually abusing two children.
According to the Erie County District Attorney s Office 31-year-old Angel DeJesus was virtually arraigned Monday on an indictment charging him with the following:
Two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child
Two counts of course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree
One count of rape in the second degree
Between April 1, 2013 and January 3, 2020 DeJesus allegedly engaged in multiple acts of sexual conduct with two children at a location in Buffalo. The district attorney s office says the alleged abuse occurred when the victims were less than 13-years-old. It is also alleged DeJesus engaged in sexual intercourse with one of the victims in August 2020.
May 24, 2021 Harold Novick was sentenced to 70 months in prison for conspiring to distribute cocaine, Acting United States Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman announced today.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â An Amherst doctor allegedly took a COVID-19 vaccine dose home to his wife and faces a petit larceny charge that is expected to be dropped according to the Erie County District Attorney s Office.
Officials say the 74-year-old doctor from Amherst was volunteering at a COVID-19 vaccine distribution site at Erie Community College South Campus in Hamburg on February 10, 2021 when he allegedly took a single dose of the vaccine from the site without authorization. The doctor allegedly provided the dose to his wife, who qualified to receive the vaccine under New York State guidelines at the time due to her age.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â A Buffalo man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder in connection with an October 2020 shooting.
The Erie County District Attorney s Office says 26-year-old Ivan Gilbert pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of attempted murder in the second degree.
The district attorney s office says on October 14, 2020, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Gilbert fired shots from an illegal pistol into a vehicle outside of a store on East Amherst Street. A person in the passenger seat was shot once in the neck but survived and a 4-year-old child in the backseat was unharmed. Officials say Gilbert fired the shots with intent to cause the victim s death.
