The body of James was located in Lancaster off of Ransom Road in a shallow grave on December 26, 1982. James died from head trauma.

(WKBW) — An Amherst man has been sentenced to five years probation for requesting sexually explicit photos of a minor through a social media app. The Erie County District Attorney s Office says on November 29, 2019 52-year-old Erick Guigui attempted to meet a person he believed to be a 15-year-old male at a location on Delaware and Kenmore Avenues in Buffalo. Before the arranged meeting Guigui requested sexually explicit photos from the victim through a social media app.

Erie men face trial in shooting; homicide charge dropped against one

A shooting at a west Erie house party in late September resulted in the death of one man and the wounding of another as at least four people fired gunshots inside and outside of a Walnut Street apartment house, according to testimony presented at a preliminary hearing on Thursday. Erie police initially charged two suspects with homicide in the case, but a magistrate at the hearing dismissed the homicide count against one of the two. Erie 3rd Ward District Judge Tom Carney agreed with a defense argument that the bullets police said were fired from the one defendant s gun did not match the caliber of the bullets recovered from the body of the homicide victim, 25-year-old Dayquan Holloway.

According to the Erie County District Attorney s Office, he is facing several charges, One count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “B” felony, one count of Assault in the First Degree, a Class “B” felony, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “C” felony. He is accused of shooting a man in the leg and back with an illegal gun. D.A. John Flynn s office reports that the victim, who was seriously injured, is still recovering . According to WGRZ, Taylor is free on $300,000 bail.

Erie County Sheriff s Deputy charged with DWI for off-duty crash involving department vehicle

Updated: 3:44 PM EST January 14, 2021 AURORA, N.Y. An Erie County Sheriff s deputy potentially faces up to a year in jail following his arraignment on DWI related charges. Aaron Naegely, 45, of Orchard Park, was arraigned Wednesday night in the Town of Aurora on one count of Driving While Intoxicated, First Offense, and one count of Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% Alcohol or More in the Blood, First Offense. Both charges are misdemeanors. The Erie County District Attorney s Office says Naegely was allegedly found to be under the influence after crashing a department vehicle on Jewett Holmwood Rd. in the Town of Aurora the night of October 2, 2020. He was off-duty at the time.
