TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Getting everyone in Arizona the COVID-19 vaccine who wants one is no small undertaking.
“As we’re watching around the country, this is a monumental task,” said Dr. Cara Christ, Director of the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Right now, most counties are still just vaccinating the first group: Phase 1A, which is primarily frontline health care workers and long-term care residents and staff. Last month, as we started the vaccination process, Dr. Christ said she hoped to start Phase 1B in early January.
