Merge Games has announced it s being acquired by Swedish publisher Zordix AB.
The company will purchase 100% of the shares in the UK-based developer and publisher for an undisclosed sum.
By doing so, Zordix aims to bolster its publishing capacity, while Merge hopes to further accelerate its growth through collaboration with other companies within the group, the announcement said.
Merge Games was created in 2010 and has since published and distributed titles such as Darkest Dungeon, Dead Cells, and Streets of Rage 4. It also specialises in collector s editions via its Signature Edition brand, which has worked on titles such as Cloudpunk and House Flipper.

According to the company’s press release, all unlimited Verizon customers will get at least six months of either Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass for free. The full year of free access is available for those who subscribe to Verizon’s Play More or Get More plans. Normally, the services cost $4.99 a month.
