The Illinois State Fair officially returns August 12-22. Organizers canceled the annual event last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Elms hires marketing director Patrick Stout Voice Correspondent MACOMB Elms Nursing Home Administrator Tim Bledsoe introduced the facility s new marketing director to the McDonough County Board s building and grounds committee Tuesday. Debby Dallefeld, a local native, said she is pleased to represent The Elms to the public. She said her other community activities are Macomb Rotary and Flags of Love. Bledsoe said The Elms is adding a computerized marketing tracking program. He said it would trace public exposure and net outcomes. He said an interactive website is being developed for the nursing home, and that all residents would be subscribed at no charge to the Retirement Home TV Network, which will provide more channels and more sports.
