As crime continues to increase in Madison County, many say at the hands of criminals from the St. Louis area, the Madison County State s Attorney has announced the formation of a new Cross-River Crime Task Force. The mission of the task force will be to combine the efforts of the different law enforcement agencies to protect our communities and bring these criminals to justice.
Madison County State s Attorney Tom Haine tells The Big Z he talked to every police chief in the county, and they all say they are dealing with crime committed by individuals from across the river.
