Applicants should expect to work the entire length of the program. Participants are paid $7.25 an hour for the 40-hour work week. Youth jobs include working as part of a crew to do different manual labor tasks, usually outdoors. Crews do tasks like caulking, staining, and painting the exterior of park buildings and work in grounds maintenance, like mowing, cleaning restrooms, trail rehabilitation, and picking up trash.
