Press TV: Iran is in the final stages of manufacturing its first wide-body combat drone that is also the first aircraft in the country’s drone squadron to be capable of flying as far as 3,000 kilometers (1864 miles).
The aircraft, codenamed Kaman (Bow)-22, has been designed and developed in line with the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force’s requirements, IRIAF Commander Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh announced on Wednesday.
It is outfitted with various types of combat equipment, including different kinds of smart ammunition, as well as diverse optical and electronic warfare equipment, he noted. According to the official, Kaman-22 can also endure airborne missions lasting longer than 24 hours.

Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says Iran will continue down the path of resistance that his predecessor, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, pursued prior to his assassination by the United States.
“We will continue down the path of Martyr Soleimani with honor and pride, and will stand against the oppressors of the world,” Brigadier General Esmaeil Qa’ani said Tuesday at a conference in Tehran on Iran’s legal and international claims related to the eight-year Iraqi war on Iran during the 1980s.

A Russian flotilla, comprising the Stoiky corvette and KoLa refueling ship, has entered Iran’s territorial waters for the 2021 combined naval exercise.
The flotilla was welcomed on Tuesday by two vessels belonging to the navies of the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
After the welcoming ceremony, Russian commanders were transferred to Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar, southeast Iran, where they attended a briefing and coordination meeting.
Admiral Gholamreza Tahani, the spokesman for the naval drill, said during a joint press conference with the commander of the Russian flotilla that the maneuver will be held in an area of 17,000 square kilometers north of the Indian Ocean.

Iran and Russia will begin a joint naval exercise on Tuesday in the northern part of the Indian Ocean with the aim of bolstering maritime trade security in the region, said the Iranian Navy’s spokesman for the drill.
