The Daily Tribune – www.newsofbahrain.com Arrangements are progressing to ensure strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols during Ramadan, the Ja fari Endowments Administration said yesterday. Accordingly, attendance at funerals will be limited to men and ten people at the first stage. The ceremony will be limited to remote broadcasting. Participation of the elderly, or those with chronic diseases, is also banned. It is also mandatory to wear masks and follow two-meter social distancing measures. The decision is as instructed by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. The administration said the officials are holding a detailed study, and arrangements will be in place soon.
