The number of active COVID-19 cases in Lubbock County is at 3,730 after 324 new cases were confirmed as of 4 p.m. Saturday.
The total COVID-19 case count in Lubbock County reached 38,891, according to a City of Lubbock news release.
The total number of virus recoveries in the county reached 34,656 after 216 new recoveries were reported, according to the news release. With four additional COVID-19-related deaths being confirmed, the total death count in the county reached 505.
Since 4:00 p.m. yesterday, 25 additional cases were reported or transferred into Lubbock, according to the news release.
Regarding Texas Governor Greg Abbott s Executive Order 31 and 32, TSA B will face restrictions to business capacity until the area has seen seven consecutive days where the COVID-19 hospitalization rate remains at or is below 15 percent, according to the news release.

Lubbock confirmed four more deaths linked to COVID-19, along with 324 new coronavirus cases and 216 more people recovered on Saturday.
The total number of confirmed cases is listed at 38,891, with 34,656 people recovered and 3,730 active cases, according to data provided by the City of Lubbock Health Department.
Since March, 505 deaths have been linked to COVID-19.
As of 4 p.m. Saturday, there were a combined 42 open hospital beds and 11 patients holding for beds at University Medical Center and Covenant Health System. Note that this reflects staffed beds open to receive patients and differs from the available bed count shown on the DSHS and the City of Lubbock dashboards. These dashboards count all available beds, including specialty beds, such as pediatrics, PICU, outpatient, psychiatric and others, as well as hospitalized patients in the 22 county Trauma Service Area.
