New weekly unemployment claims have decreased for four consecutive weeks in Utah, with 3,113 submitted last week. The Utah Department of Workforce Services reported Thursday, for the week of Feb. 21-27, a total of $21,269,129 in benefits was paid while32,514 continued claims were filed. The number of individuals who have not requested a benefit for two consecutive weeks as of Feb. 20, 2021, was 1,683. A total of 2,029 met the same criteria.
