Today, IHOP® unveiled the latest plans to launch a pilot of its new fast-casual concept, flipâd by IHOP (flipâd). The new brand aims to address the growing demand for made-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner that is convenient and fresh, all at a great value, allowing guests to enjoy an exciting menu of IHOP-inspired favorites in an innovative way.
DineEquity (NYSE: DIN) is scheduled to report fourth-quarter 2011 results tomorrow, March 1, before the markets open. The stock is up nearly 20% in the past 90 days. Former CFO Thomas Song resigned in December
Dine Brands Global Inc. has named Vance Chang its chief financial officer, effective June 14, 2021, the parent company of IHOP and Applebee’s neighborhood Grill & Bar, said Wednesday.
It also has named Allison Hall, who has served as interim CFO since January following the December resignation of Thomas Song, as senior vice president and chief accounting officer.

Vance most recently was CFO of Exer Urgent Care, and before that he held the same position at Yogaworks. He also has held positions at Pressed Juicery, Moelis & Company, Oracle and Deloitte & Touche. He received a degree in accounting from the University of Washington and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Applebee’s hopes to hire 10,000 people in a single day.
The restaurant chain owned by Dine Brands Global Inc. in Glendale will host a national hiring day event on May 17 to recruit workers for its 1,600 locations. Candidates who have an interview can receive a voucher for a free appetizer via a company app.
“Through this hiring initiative, Applebee’s and its franchise partners aim to welcome 10,000 new team members to their restaurants nationwide,” the company said in a statement, adding that the purpose of the event is “to make it easy for interested candidates to start their career at Applebee’s.”
