A SERVICE user at Cygnet Lodge Brighouse mental health hospital has been leading efforts to collect items for a local foodbank to help people in need during the Covid-19 crisis. George Davidson is working together with staff at the high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service to put together posters asking for donations and collect donations in morning meetings. Initially inspired by a food collection organised by staff for a local Sure Start centre, George decided to organise regular donations to the Brighouse Central Foodbank. The first donation took place just before Christmas and the hospital continues to do so every month.
