On Wednesday night, the White Township Supervisors head that many people had submitted applications to be on the Recreation Advisory Board.
Township Manager Milt Lady said that 16 applications were received prior to the deadline, and one just after the 4:30 PM deadline. Council members were okay with the late applicant, as they had not been presented with any information on the other applicants. Lady was impressed with how many people sent in applications.
Nine other applications were received for the White’s Woods Management Committee, but that committee doesn’t exist yet. The committee will be formed after pending litigation from the Friends of White’s Woods is finished.
