17-year-old charged as an adult in July 2020 second-degree murder case in east Columbia
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Columbia teen is now charged with two counts of second-degree murder for his alleged role in the deaths of two people on July 5 in east Columbia.
According to Assistant Prosecutor Jessica Caldera, 17-year-old Iseah Jackson was certified as an adult at a hearing in juvenile court today.
Caldera says she believes Jackson, 16 at the time, displayed a gun in a threatening manner in the presence of others, leading to the deaths of two people. While she believes Jackson fired his gun, the charges do not claim he actually shot anyone.
