Dr Sheeba Manzoor (Convener), in her address encouraged the freshers to carry forward their enthusiasm to complete their courses successfully by upgrading their knowledge and improving their skills from time to time.
Misbah-ur-Rehman and Tariq Ahmad (Assistant Professors in Computer Engineering) shared useful information on academic ordinances and course curriculum with significances of the diploma in secretarial practices, CDGT and interior decoration. Dr Sheeba Kamal (Assistant Professor), enlightened the students about the importance of communication skills.
Dr Asifa Ishrat (Organizer and Coordinator) gave complete overview of the program, Ms Sadia, Ms Iqra Saleem, Mr Sohaib Masood and Ms Shira Moin has an interactive session with the newly admitted students’ and Mrs Fauzia and Mrs Hina Nawaz extended the vote of thanks.

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal innovators have developed a low cost ‘Crowd and Mask’ monitoring system, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In an initiative to tackle the spread of COVID-19, Dr PB Sujit, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, IISER Bhopal along with Dr Mitradip Bhattacharjee and Dr Santanu Talukdar, Assistant Professors, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, IISER Bhopal and Dr Venkateshwar Rao, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, IISER Bhopal, and BSMS Student Kasi Viswanath developed this AI-enabled device that can replicate manual policing to ensure the COVID-19 prevention norms are being followed.

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal have developed a low-cost Crowd and Mask Monitoring System, to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The AI-enabled device will replicate manual policing to ensure COVID-19 prevention norms are being followed.
The institute plans to use this AI-powered system on its campus as it commences the process of bringing students back in phases. The students will be expected to maintain a minimum of three feet of social distancing.
