COVID-19 vaccination: Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand to inoculate those above 18 for free The registration for vaccination of people above the age of 18 will begin on April 24 (Saturday) on the Co-Win app. (Image source: ANI) Updated: Apr 23, 2021, 06:46 PM IST In a significant step, the Union government on Monday (April 19) announced that the third phase of COVID-19 vaccination will begin from May 1 and everyone above the age of 18 will be eligible to get the vaccine jab.  The registration for vaccination of people above the age of 18 will begin on April 24 (Saturday) on the Co-Win app. In this phase of vaccination, vaccine manufacturers would supply 50% of their supply of doses to centre & would be free to supply the remaining 50% doses to state governments and in the open market.
