Gujarat Board Class 10, 12 Exam 2021: As CBSE board cancelled class 10 board exams and postponed class 12 board exams due to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country, students of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) have also requested for the postponement of the exams. As of now, the Gujarat Board class 10, 12 board exams have been scheduled to be held from May 10 to 25, 2021.
As per media reports, the members of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board on Tuesday met to review the chances of postponing the class 10 and 12 board exams 2021.

Amid the growing clamour for the cancellation of CBSE exams because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exams for Class 10 have been cancelled, while CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 have been postponed. The decision was taken during a meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Union Education Minister Ramesh Pakhriyal Nishank and other senior officials. Amid a massive surge in COVID-19 cases, keeping in mind the safety of students and teachers, several states including Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Maharashtra have postponed Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. While students, parents, among others are requesting the Centre to postpone the CBSE classes 10 and 12 Board exams scheduled to begin in May, several states including Delhi, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh have already postponed the state board exams.

Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, commonly known as UP Board, has initiated a major change in the pattern of roll numbers being allotted to the students appearing in this year’s High School and Intermediate examinations. From now onward, the roll numbers will also indicate the year of the examination.
Under thee new pattern, the roll number allotted to the students is of nine digits in place of earlier seven digits. Of this, the first two numbers would reveal the year of examination in which a student is appearing in the Board exam, while the remaining seven digits would be the roll number like previous years.
