UP Police Takes Action Against 15 For Raising Pro-Pakistan Slogans Just For Fun

UP Police (Representative Image) (Pic Via Wikipedia) Uttar Pradesh (UP) Police has booked at least 15 young men, including two minor boys for raising pro-Pakistan slogans just for fun , Times of India. The State s Police swung into action after a video of those booked begun to spread online. The video showed the group onboard a tractor shouting objectionable slogans just for fun . So far an FIR has been registered in the case under IPC Section 505/2 (statements conducing public mischief). Also, upon identification, the UP Police had detained six from the group, including the two minor boys. The minor boys were handed over to the parents with a warning, while the other four were arrested.

Today, UP Police dropped the Pichai’s name and three other top officials from the First Information Report (FIR). A police official privy to the probe told Why was the complaint filed? The FIR was filed by a local resident claiming he got over 8,500 threat calls after objecting to a video that he first came across in a WhatsApp group and later on YouTube.
