Deal: Pendle Bike Racks will now sell its products on Decathlon Marketplace s website A BICYCLE rack company is celebrating a landmark deal to sell its products on a website with tens of millions of visitors. The deal will see Nelson-based Pendle Bike Racks ship its products directly from Lancashire to customers who have bought them from Decathlon Marketplace. The company, which has its headquarters on Pendle Industrial Estate, Southfield Street, Nelson, says that this will help them to gain recognition across international markets. Pendle Bike Racks managing director Chris Smith said: It’s a real honour to be one of the flagship companies invited to join this new marketplace scheme.
A BIKE rack firm has reported a surge in tricycle rack sales amid National Bike Week. The week runs from May 30 to June 5 with Nelson based Pendle Bike Racks reporting the people of all age and abilities have flocked to buying trike bike racks, with the three wheeled option proving increasingly popular. Pendle Bike Racks managing director Chris Smith believes that trikes are particularly popular with newer, what he calls born again , cyclists who are using them to overcome impaired balance or physical limitations that can make cycling on two wheels more difficult.
