A top Utah official is now apologizing after he sent an expletive-laden email in which told a city council member to “die and go to hell” after being woken up from a nap.
Salt Lake City Council Member Darin Mano wrote in a Facebook post on Monday that he received a “hateful” email from Utah Assistant Attorney General Steven Wuthrich, claiming that he was woken up when the council member rang his doorbell.
“I have a no soliciting sign on my door for a reason. On a nice Saturday afternoon myself and my wife and my downstairs tenant were all taking a lovely siesta when some mother ignorant son-of- rang our doorbell and put your piece unwanted solicitation in our door waking the dogs and waking us and the neighbors with an uproar,” Wuthrich wrote in an email, according to a screenshot posted by Mano.

The Asian American Collegiate Alliance celebrated Utah Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a rally on Saturday, May 22 at the Salt Lake City and County Building.

The rally had a turnout of several hundred people, and many members of the Utah Asian American Pacific Islander community and others from different Utah communities came in solidarity.

SALT LAKE CITY â Just after midnight Tuesday morning, a townhome surveillance camera picks up the distinct sound of gunshots.
At least nine shots fire off in the dark distance, somewhere beyond the quiet townhome yards off Kensington Avenue.
Police would respond and find a man shot to death inside a car on Kensington Avenue near Main Street. They d discover a second man and a woman shot, but still alive.
Nate Sase lives in one of the townhomes. He said his husband awoke to the noise, but Sase didn t hear the gunshots.
