PENDLETON â Officials with the Umatilla County Sheriffâs Office said that an ATV driver was killed and a passenger injured in a crash on Saturday, May 8, near Ukiah.
According to a press release from the UCSO, Jessica Whitney Ice, 33, of Pendleton, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in the area of Hideaway Springs Road.
An adult female passenger was transported by ambulance to Ukiah, and then Life Flighted by helicopter to St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington, the press release said, where she is reportedly in good condition.
Police said the Umatilla County Sheriff s Dispatch Center received a call around 3 p.m. reporting the crash. Pendleton Fire and Ukiah Quick Response Team responded to the call.
MEACHAM â The search in the Meacham area for a missing Idaho woman ended Saturday afternoon, May 8, with the recovery of her body.
The Umatilla County Sheriff s Office in a press release reported searchers at approximately 1 p.m. notified the incident command post of finding the body of Deborah Deb Hendrichs on the east side of Interstate 84 south of Meacham near milepost 238.

Hendrichs, 56, of Star, Idaho, went missing Jan. 11 at about 5 p.m. just outside Meacham, where her car, a black Toyota RAV4, ran out of gas at a bridge entrance.
MEACHAM â The body of a woman from Idaho who went missing near Meacham was found on Saturday, May 8, according to a press release from the Umatilla County Sheriffâs Office.
Deb Hendrichs, 56, from Star, Idaho, was found on the east side Interstate 84 south of Meacham near milepost 238 after a multiagency search began on May 8, the press release said. She had been missing since Jan. 11, when her vehicle was found near the area.
When the search began, a team of dogs quickly found Hendrichsâ wallet and other items described in the search plan. Then, while law enforcement secured the scene, dogs and drones searched the area nearby.

MEACHAM, Ore. A body was found during an organized search of the Meacham, Ore. area on Saturday afternoon. The body was found during a search for 56-year-old Deborah Hendrichs, a Star woman who has been missing since January.
Umatilla County Search and Rescue and Oregon State Police coordinated a multi-agency search of the Meacham area in hopes of locating Hendrichs. The search was set to continue through Sunday but concluded at 1 p.m. Saturday after searchers notified Incident Command that a body was found on the east side of I-84 near milepost 238 south of Meacham.
