AVONDALE, PA A man wearing a Homeland Security ankle bracelet and who is a Guatemalan refugee sold methamphetamine on two occasions in Avondale, according to the Chester County District Attorney s Office.
The Chester County District Attorney s Office has charged Darinel Lucas-Gomez, 28, of Avondale, with possession with intent to deliver $22,000 in methamphetamine, along with related offenses.
Gomez allegedly sold methamphetamine on two occasions, one-eighth of an ounce on March 29, and six and a half ounces on March 30, the D.A. s report said. He had another 11 ounces in his possession on March 30 at his Avondale apartment, law enforcement said.

An agreement signed by Mayor Pete Rust March 17 will bring more than $100,000 to the city’s police department.
The agreement continues a long-standing partnership between the Green River Police Department and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation. The agreement brings $100,610 to the department’s efforts in combatting narcotics trafficking in the community.
The funds are part of a larger grant awarded to DCI through the Department of Justice’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area initiative.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AFP) The United States Coast Guard has transferred custody of three suspected smugglers and an estimated US$6.6 million in seized cocaine to US federal agents at Coast Guard Base San Juan, following the interdiction of a drug smuggling vessel in the Mona Passage, near Mona Island, Puerto Rico, in the Caribbean Sea.
The US Coast Guard said on Tuesday that the suspected smugglers are males, Dominican Republic nationals, who now face criminal charges by US Department of Justice prosecution partners in the US Attorney s Office for the District of Puerto Rico.
