Dundee High School is in a remote learning situation for all students starting today, and continuing until March 12.
Dundee Superintendent Edward Manuszak made the announcement late Thursday, in response to learning that two Dundee High students tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus. That s a total of six such reports for the week, expected to be seven after test results are available for one student.
In addition, Manuszak said the close contacts of the affected students is now over 75 people. School officials discussed the situation with the Monroe County Health Department and came up with the following plan:
The High School Snowball Dance, which had already been postponed once to March 13, has been tentatively moved to March 27.
