CLEVELAND The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has already assisted more than 400,000 local residents who are struggling to keep food on the table as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic continues.
On Wednesday, the regional food-gathering organization will again assist in that effort with a drive-thru food distribution event. The food bank will handing out food from 1-4 p.m. at the Cleveland Municipal Lot, which is located at 1503 S. Marginal Road.
The latest food distribution event comes a week after local volunteers assisted more than 3,400 people who arrived at the site seeking assistance. Food Bank officials said they will distribute a combination of fresh produce and non-perishable food to families that attend Wednesday s event.
