BROOKLYN CENTER, MN Law enforcement and protesters clashed and businesses were destroyed overnight in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center after police fatally shot a 20-year-old Black man.
Just before 2 p.m. Sunday, police say they stopped a car for a traffic violation near the 6300 block of Orchard Avenue. The driver, later identified by the family as Daunte Wright, had an outstanding warrant, according to officers.

The Pentagon prepared an undisclosed document about specific details of that day and was obtained by AP news. It outlined a timeline of phone calls from various officials inside, and described the steps former President Donald Trump didn’t take to keep everyone safe.
“Clear the Capitol,” Pence stated in a phone call to the acting defense security after nearly 20,000 Trump supporters started to swarm the exterior of the building.

OAKLAND, Calif. - Governor Gavin Newsom s office on Tuesday announced an agreement with Alameda and Contra Costa counties to continue operations at the Oakland Coliseum mass vaccination site.
Officially branded the RingCentral Coliseum, Newsom had this to say about the latest development in the battle to end the COVID-19 pandemic: We are proud to continue operations at the RingCentral Coliseum site with our local and federal partners, said Governor Newsom. I’d like to thank our partners for stepping up to support the Bay Area community especially those hit hardest by this pandemic.
