Bulgaria today tabled a proposal for a
freeze on
MPs
salaries and the cancellation of the proposal adopted yesterday to set additional remuneration of up to 25%. This was announced at a briefing by Vice-President of the National Assembly from the quota of the left wing Christian Vigenin.
However, the decision proposed by Democratic
Bulgaria was not for a new opportunity to raise their pay, but for a salary ceiling, which according to the parliamentary rules of procedure can be paid for national priority tasks. So far, there has been such an opportunity, but without a specified amount of bonuses.
Vigenin stressed that the Lefts have not supported this decision and with this statement they want to put an end to speculation on the subject.

Outlawed TLP announces to end countrywide protest
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The banned Tehreek-e Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has announced to end its countrywide protest, including the Lahore sit-in.
According to sources, an important statement issued by the central leader of the proscribed TLP, said that the government has fulfilled its promise by presenting a resolution in the National Assembly while positive progress has been made on other issues as well.
Shafiq Amini, a central leader of the banned TLP, announced at the party’s Lahore protest at Yateem Khana Chowk that their goal had been achieved. He told protestors to end the sit-in and return to their homes after which the party workers started vacating the area.

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – France, on Tuesday, announced that its volume of trade with Nigeria in year 2020 dropped to $2.3 billion dollars, from $4.5 billion in 2019, as a result of COVID-19.
The French Minister in charge of Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Mr Frank Riester, disclosed this at a meeting he held with the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), in Abuja, as part of his two-day official visit to Nigeria.
“We are optimistic of the future, when the crisis will be ending, because we have many companies that have settled here. We want a win-win partnership between our two countries.
“We have 100 companies that are settled in Nigeria, representing 10,000 people working in these companies and we want to increase our investments in Nigeria”, he said.

Protesters gathered in front of the old parliament building with the inscription Unity Makes Strength , where the solemn
opening session of the newly elected 45th National Assembly begins. They demanded that parliament dissolve itself, new elections and a caretaker government.
People are also demanding a full investigation of the GERB governments. Police presence in the area has been stepped up.
At the solemn sitting, The Head of State Rumen Radev addressed the people and the Members of the National Assembly, and the six political forces presented their priorities.
The first meeting was opened by the oldest MP - Mika Zaykova, MP of Slavi Trifonov s party There Is Such a People.She has been a longtime economic adviser in the Podkrepa Labour Confederation and is the doyen of the current parliament at the age of 79.She said:
