MLW Fusion was presented by Salina de la Renta as executive producer. Episode 117 featured the debut of Mil Muertes as well as the Von Erichs putting tag team gold on the line against LA Park and Hijo de LA Park.
Let’s break it all down.
Salina de la Renta’s executive producer powers were evident right away with a different opening montage to feature Salina and her associates.

Salina welcomed us to what will be the highest rated show in MLW history. She was angry at Rich Bocchini for not wearing a mask. He is too ugly for broadcast television.

Number of title reigns: Pretty self-explanatory. Wrestlers who have only had one run at the top – even a lengthy run – rank lower than those the company have had faith in multiple times.
IMPACT reveals new announce team, Josh Mathews promoted behind-the-camera
Matt Stiker will handle play-by-play and IMPACT agent D’Lo Brown will serve at the color commentator.
Josh Mathew has been promoted to a behind-the-camera position. Madison Rayne’s future will also be addressed.
We had reported last month that is was being said that Rayne would be leaving the company or a full-time outside of the wrestling industry.

Award-winning Wrestling Announcer Joins With Longtime Wrestler For New IMPACT Wrestling Broadcast Team
Josh Mathews Has Been Promoted To Behind-The-Camera Position; Updates On Madison Rayne Forthcoming
IMPACT Wrestling confirmed today that a new broadcast team will start on Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view, which will originate from Nashville, Tennessee.
Matt Striker will be IMPACT’s new play-by-play announcer, while D’Lo Brown will handle color commentary duties. The two also will be the announce team for the flagship weekly TV show, Impact!, airing every Tuesday from 8-10 p.m. ET, on AXS TV.
Josh Mathews, meanwhile, has been promoted to Senior Producer for the weekly TV show and all pay-per-views, and he also signed a new, multi-year contract with the company. Madison Rayne, a 5-time Knockouts Champion who provided color commentary for most of 2020, will discuss her wrestling future this weekend at Hard To Kill.
