A small, colourful lilac tree now stands proudly in front of the Family & Community Support Services building recognizing both progress made in combating elder abuse and its continued effect on the Cochrane community.
“Elder abuse happens everywhere, but we need to be a community that talks about it because you can’t find the solutions if you can’t identify the problems,” said councillor Susan Flowers.
