It didn t take long for the country s leading theme park operators to embrace new policies related to COVID-19. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed on Thursday afternoon that folks completing the COVID-19 vaccination process can enjoy indoor and outdoor activities without a mask or social distancing.

Theme parks have had to get creative under the current conditions. While many people are more than happy to visit theme parks, others have been more apprehensive about making the trip, and others are simply unable to do so. As such, the parks have had to find ways to not only bring in guests, but keep the same guests coming back. Universal Orlando Resort may have found the perfect way to keep guests coming back to the resort again and again. Following an incredibly successful Mardi Gras event that was built around a lot of new menu options, the park is now breaking out a similarly special menu for the summer season.

Bill Paxton had the time of his life behind the scenes of
Twister. The late actor gave ET a tour of the film’s destruction sets, including the house that Paxton and Helen Hunt memorably drove through after the home got relocated by a tornado’s fury into the pathway of their truck.
“I m in a great mood,” Paxton told ET on the Oklahoma set in 1995. As he should have been. Up until that year, Paxton had been a reliable supporting actor (
Aliens) and scene-stealer (
True Lies) for a decade. But following his role in Ron Howard’s
Apollo 13, a critical and box office hit, Universal Pictures handed Paxton his first leading role in a big-budget summer blockbuster. “A lot of dots are starting to connect after a long time.”

PHOTOS: Jurassic World Tribute Store Coming to Universal Studios Florida
This week, we noticed that Universal Studios Florida was getting ready to open a new Tribute Store following the end of Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval and the closure of its Tribute Store. Today we were excited to see the reveal of the Tribute Store’s theme: Jurassic World.
The reveal of the store comes one month ahead of Jurassic World VelociCoaster’s grand opening (although we already rode it during Passholder Previews). Though the ride will be in the Jurassic Park land of Universal’s Islands of Adventure, the Tribute Store is in Universal Studios Florida.
