Airlines allowed to operate 80% of pre-COVID-19 domestic flights till March 31
The summer schedule begins at the end of March for all the airlines. Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approves both the schedules - summer and winter - of all the airlines.

The cap on the number of domestic flights that Indian airlines are permitted to operate will remain at 80 per cent of their pre-COVID levels till March 31 or till the summer schedule begins, said the Civil Aviation Ministry on Thursday. The ministry had set the 80 per cent limit on December 3, 2020, without specifying till what date it would remain in place.

New Delhi: The government on Friday extended the price limit on domestic airfares till March 31, 2021 midnight. The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) had enforced the price bands for domestic carriers on May 21, 2020, in wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
The aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had imposed lower and upper limits of Rs 2,000 and Rs 6,000 respectively on domestic flights with less than 40-minute duration.
