On Windows 10, if you keep sensitive files on your device, it is crucial to take the necessary steps to protect them, and this is when BitLocker comes in handy. BitLocker is a feature that has been around for a long time, and it provides a way to encrypt the data on the hard drive to prevent unauthorized access to your information.
In a nutshell, encryption is the process of making any data unreadable without proper authorization. When you use encryption to scramble your data, it will continue to be unreadable even when sharing it with other people. Only you with the proper encryption key can decrypt the data to make it usable.

If you let your family or other people browse the web using Chrome on your PC, you might want to prevent them from installing extensions in Chrome. Here’s how to take advantage of a Chrome policy meant for system administrators to disable extension installation.
You can use either the Registry Editor or the Local Group Policy Editor. The Registry Editor is accessible on all Windows 10 editions. The Local Group Policy Editor is not available on the Home edition of Windows 10.
Note: Using the Registry Editor or Local Group Policy Editor to block people from installing Chrome extensions will make Google Chrome say it’s “Managed by your organization” on its Settings screen.
Restart the computer.
After you complete the steps, users will no longer be able to launch the application you specified. You can always repeat the steps to block access to other desktop applications.
If you want to undo the changes, you can use the same instructions outlined above, but on
steps 4, right-click the hash of the app currently blocked, and select the
Delete option.
If you are disabling applications to prevent users from making system changes, you can use these instructions to restrict access to PowerShell or Command Prompt. You can also restrict access to the Task Manager and Registry.
Continue with the on-screen directions (if applicable).
After you complete the steps, no one will have access to PowerShell version 7 since it s no longer installed on the device. Of course, you can always download and install the app again.
If you are trying to prevent users from making unwanted system changes, in addition to restricting access to PowerShell, you can also disable Command Prompt, Task Manager, and Registry. Furthermore, you can even try switching the account type to Standard User to prevent users from making system changes and make the account more secure. However, users will still have access to PowerShell, Command Prompt, and Task Manager to perform some common tasks.
