On Tuesday, detectives executed another search warrant that resulted in the third arrest. The three suspects in custody are Nathan Eads, 18, Shamari Sheffield, 18, and 20-year-old Richard Kimball. These suspects were using a blue Prius during their recent crime spree and have also been linked to a burglary that occurred in Shadowbrook in early January.

Effingham, IL / Effingham Radio Jan 13, 2021 4:45 PM Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- On January 13th, at approximately 8:20 AM, the United States Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force and the Effingham County Sheriff‘s Office served an arrest warrant on a residence at 817 N Main Street in Mason.  Taken into custody at the residence was 59–year–old Randall W. Sinclair. Sinclair was living in Mason after moving from Indiana. The arrest warrant is for intimidating a public official, and was issued in Vanderburgh County (Evansville), Indiana.  Sinclair was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Effingham County Jail.

The Effingham Police Department and the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office, working in conjunction with Southeastern Illinois Drug Task  Force, Illinois State Police, United States Marshals Service, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations Task Force, conducted investigations regarding numerous alleged dealers of  methamphetamine (Schedule II Controlled Substance), heroin (Schedule I Controlled Substance), and other controlled substances such as illegally obtained prescription narcotics. The  information discovered during this investigation, along with other ongoing investigations, was  presented to the Effingham County States Attorney’s Office and the United States District Court  for the Southern District of Illinois for prosecution. Updated: 2:07 PM CST January 11, 2021 EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ill. A multi-agency crackdown on drug distribution in the Effingham area has led to 10 arrests, police announced Monday. The Effingham Police Department and Effingham County Sheriff s Office, with help from the Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force, Illinois State Police, U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI Task Force, investigated several alleged dealers of heroin, methamphetamine and other controlled substances.  Information discovered during the investigation and other ongoing investigations led to four federal indictments and several other arrests in Effingham County: U.S. District Court of Southern Illinois Indictments: Kyle W. Sinkler, 30, Mason Count 1: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine and Heroin: 50 grams or more of methamphetamine; or 500 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine
