“[T]he Professional Regulation Commission informs the public that upon the recommendation of various and relevant stakeholders, the April 11 and 12, 2021 Licensure Examinations for Radiologic Technologists and X-ray Technologists have been rescheduled to May 16 and 17, 2021 respectively,” the PRC said in an advisory.
The regulatory commission said it has rescheduled the exams to a later date due to the prevailing health risks and continued restrictions brought by the extended community quarantines.
This is also due to surge of new cases of coronavirus variants, and to ensure the health and safety of all examinees and examination personnel, it added.
For further queries and concerns, the public may email PRC’s Licensure Division at [email protected] and [email protected].

BEND, Ore. On January 31st and February 1st, well over 150 people came together to walk the picket line in front of St. Charles Medical Center. A unit of technical employees, including Respiratory Therapists, Radiation Therapists, X-Ray Technologists, and other health professionals, led the picket, raising their voices about the experiences they have faced at the hospital.
“We had a great turnout and all the community support is amazing. I think we will definitely keep up the pressure,” says Frank Dewolf, a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist at St. Charles. “I think we showed over the past two days that we are a well organized group and we are all on board to fight for a fair contract.”
