The US Army has tested the capability of Vita Inclinata Technologies’ Rescue System technology during a recent exercise.
During testing, Vita Rescue System was equipped onto a HH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and the service’s traditional legacy system was fitted onto another HH-60 aircraft.
The helicopters took part in a simulated patient rescue mission. The company noted that its system outperformed the legacy system by 3:1.
Stryker Double V Hull Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICVVA1). This upgrade will provide precision lethality capability to the Army’s Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT). Oshkosh Defense teamed with Pratt Miller and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems to deliver an MCWS that provides increased lethality, accuracy, and range while maintaining the mobility and survivability of the Stryker ICVVA1. Oshkosh will integrate onto the ICVVA1 chassis a 30mm weapon system based on Rafael Advanced Defense Systems’ proven SAMSON family of turrets.

Tankers, recovery trucks and heavy equipment transporters will be delivered to FMS customer Egypt.
Egypt is receiving an undisclosed number of M978A4 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) tanker vehicles, plus M984A4 HEMTT recovery trucks and M1070A1 Heavy Equipment Transporters from Oshkosh Defense.
The US company is providing the vehicles under a $26.07 million FMS deal from US Army Contracting Command, the DoD announced on 26 May.
Work will be completed by 31 January 2023.
According to Shephard Defence Insight, vehicles in the HEMTT family are already in service with the Egyptian armed forces.
