NASA Parker Solar Probe snaps images of Venus dust ring

Shane McGlaun - Apr 20, 2021, 7:04am CDT A new image taken by the Parker Solar Probe has been shared by researchers at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. The image shows the first complete view of a dust ring surrounding Venus. The dust ring’s particles stretch for the entirety of the planet’s path around the sun. Researchers published the new images on April 6, and they cover almost the entire 360-degree view of the ring. Researchers say the images represent a complete picture of the dust ring that scientists had only seen hints of previously. Those previous hints came from images taken by the Helios probes in the ’70s. Hints of dust rings had also been observed in work from the NASA Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory probes between 2007 and 2014.

There is a new law the so-called “Hate Speech” law, that just passed the House and is expected to pass the Senate and become law very soon. It was originally designed to guard against discrimination of oppressed minorities but was soon recognized as a way for Israel to forever end any criticism of the state of Israel and Zionism. When it is law, this page, and many like it will be deleted from the internet as yet another mile marker of the infringement of truth and free speech by certain dual-nationals at the expense of true and patriotic Americans. Enough said.

We Finally Have a Complete View of The Resonance Dust Ring of Venus 19 APRIL 2021 A wispy ring of dust that circles the Sun along the orbital path of Venus has just been revealed in the most detail yet, thanks to instruments carried by the Parker Solar Probe. The pristine, white-light images, taken from inside the orbit of Venus, show the ring in almost its entirety. This is vital data for understanding this ring, and the dynamics of the Solar System and its gravitational interactions. This is the first time that a circumsolar dust ring in the inner Solar System could be revealed in its full glory in white light images, said astronomer Guillermo Stenborg of the US Naval Research Laboratory. Advertisement Astronomers suspected it was there, but now we know it’s real: a band of particles distributed along Venus’s orbital path around the Sun. Evidence of this circumsolar ring had previously appeared during NASA’s Helios spacecraft mission of the 1970s, and then again during NASA’s Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) mission from 2007 to 2014. A complete view of this ring had eluded astronomers until now. The Parker Solar Probe has captured the circumsolar ring’s entire 360-degree path around the Sun. A paper detailing this discovery now appears in The Astrophysical Journal.
