Legacy flights celebrate American aviation ingenuity and honor those who have and continue to serve our country, and this year’s Pacific Airshow will host the U.S. Navy Growler Legacy Flight Demonstration Team for the first time.
At Pacific Airshow, Oct. 1-3, the Team’s two Growlers will shred the Huntington Beach sky while demonstrating the awesome capabilities of the EA-18G before being joined in close formation with a classic Navy aircraft from the Vietnam War era, the North American T-28 Trojan, for a moving 3-ship salute to the history and tradition of Naval Aviation.
“Legacy flights are an emotional and important part of the Pacific Airshow line up this year. It’s a key moment in the show when we salute the past, present and future of our military, and we are honored to host the Growler Legacy Flight Team for the first time,” said Kevin Elliott, Pacific Airshow director.
