The parties discussed investment cooperation development in agriculture, tourism, logistics, infrastructure, as well as finance and technology. The need for priority implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at developing the private sector of Kazakhstan economy was emphasized. The talks resulted in the agreement on investment cooperation signed between the Astana International Financial Center administration and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. The document provides for the implementation of joint investment projects in Kazakhstan through the AIFC platform the sum of up to $ 1 billion.
