HAMILTON, Bermuda, May 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Seadrill Limited ( Seadrill or the Company ) (OSE: SDRL, OTCPK: SDRLF) announces that Seadrill New Finance Limited (the Issuer ), a subsidiary of the Company, has agreed to further extend the existing forbearance agreement announced on 19 April 2021, and extended on 17 May 2021, with respect to the 12.0% senior secured notes due 2025 (the Notes ) with certain holders of the Notes (the Note Holders ).
Pursuant to the forbearance agreement, as extended, the consenting Note Holders have agreed not to exercise any enforcement rights with respect to the Issuer and any subsidiary of the Issuer which is an obligor under the Notes to, or otherwise take actions in respect of, certain events of default that may arise under the Notes as a result of, amongst other things, the Issuer not making the semi-annual 4% cash interest payment due to the senior secured noteholders on 15 January 2021 in respect of
FirstEnergy fires another executive over consulting contract

CLEVELAND (AP) A FirstEnergy senior vice president was fired Thursday for her “inaction” regarding a 2015 amendment to a “purported” consulting contract with someone who was later appointed as Ohio s top utility regulator, the company announced in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Eileen Mikkelsen s dismissal makes her the sixth high-ranking FirstEnergy executive fired since the U.S. Department of Justice alleged last July that the company had secretly funded a $60 million bribery scheme aimed at winning legislative approval of a bailout of two nuclear power plants operated at the time by a wholly-owned FirstEnergy subsidiary.
Then, the firm paid an undisclosed amount to settle overdue taxes of more than $340,000 only to learn its money never reached the tax agencies, LeapStarr executive Elizabeth Santana asserted in the filing.
And the business became embroiled in a court battle with its landlord, which is trying to evict LeapStarr from its quarters on the 900 block of Bethel Avenue.
That fight’s included attempts to lock the business out of its facility, as well as “tampering with the electrical power to the property, delivering dumpsters to the property with threats of removing all of the personal property … and attempting to barricade the property with truckloads of cement barriers,” Santana’s filing said.
