UA Black Faculty and Staff Presents 2022 Wakanda Scholarship Ball
The University of Alabama Black Faculty and Staff Association, known as BFSA, will be hosting a Wakanda Scholarship Ball in 2022. Please save the date. The wonderful event will take place on the evening of February 5th, 2022, at 7:00 pm at the Bryant Conference Center on the University of Alabama campus.
The BFSA Wakanda Scholarship Ball proceeds will fund two scholarship endowments managed by BFSA. The Alabama Black Faculty and Staff Association Annual Support Fund and the Quasi Endowed Scholarship.
The Black Faculty and Staff Association s (BFSA) mission is to “contribute to the betterment of The University of Alabama by serving as an advocate for educational equity, with an emphasis on African-American students, and the professional needs of its members.”
Hunter Biden To Teach Fake News Class at Tulane This Fall
The course is called
Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts. It s targeted to students who are interested in public policy and media relations. Hunter does have previous experience teaching, as he taught a class at Georgetown where he received his degree in History. He later obtained his law degree at Yale.
The class will include several guest speakers over the ten-week course, including:
Juan Williams, political analyst for Fox News Channel
Susan Glasser, columnist for The New Yorker
Margaret Sullivan, Washington Post columnist; Kylie Atwood, national security correspondent for CNN
