A fugitive wanted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was taken into custody Tuesday after WCSO and the U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force received a tip.

Indiana Borough Police say that the fourth suspect in the fatal shooting of a man near IUP campus back in October of 2020 is now in police custody.
Police say on Friday, 19-year-old Terrion Gates of Philadelphia was apprehended in Altoona, PA by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. Gates was wanted in connection with the shooting of Jaedyn Wright on October 17
th of last year in the parking lot of the Carriage House apartments on Oakland Avenue in Indiana Borough. Gates, along with 20-year-old Isaiah Moore of Philadelphia, 18-year-old Isabella Edmonds of Indiana and 20-year-old Delmar Chatman of Johnstown are accused of conspiring to get some marijuana from Wright with the encounter leading to the shooting death of Wright. The four fled on foot after the shooting.

SCIOTO Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman and Portsmouth Police Chief Debby Brewer announced Tuesday a two-day “Multi-Agency Probation / Warrant Operation” was conducted Monday and Tuesday, March 1 and 2. Sheriff David Thoroughman and Chief Debby Brewer advised that this is the first of many to come.
“If we are to have safer/stronger communities, we have to have strong partnerships with our local, state and federal law enforcement agencies,” the agencies said in a release. “This holds true for the other governmental agencies, private business/organizations and our community that we serve. We have to strengthen and grow those relationships to better serve our community.”

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Andrew Rey Ybaben, 25, of Lubbock pleaded guilty this morning to aggravated sexual assault of a child in the 137th District Court.
