(WDAM) - The 12th Judicial Metro Narcotics Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force captured a wanted man Wednesday and seized drugs, guns and cash. Tabrakus Mark was wanted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for escape, according to the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office. Evidence seized during the arrest. (Source: Forrest County Sheriff s Office) Mark now faces pending charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Prince William County Malicious Wounding by Mob – On May 10 at 3:08AM, officers responded to the Bayvue Apartments located in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old man, suffering from severe stab wounds and provided immediate first aid until rescue personnel arrived. The victim was flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that a group of men were in the above area when an altercation ensued. During the altercation, a second victim, a 33-year-old man, was struck resulting in minor injuries before the parties separated. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. While investigating, detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau identified the suspects and obtained arrest warrants for Ulises Isaias URIAS MORALES, Jose URIAS MORALES, and Pablo Omar URIAS MORALES. 2 Mississippi teens arrested, charged in deadly I-55 shooting

View Comments Two teenage boys have been arrested in connection to a Saturday shooting on I-55 in Ridgeland that killed a 16-year-old, police say. In a news release Thursday, Ridgeland Police Department officials said Marcus Luckett, 15, and Kevin Harris, 16, both of Canton, were arrested. Luckett is charged with murder and Harris is charged with accessory after the fact to murder, according to arrest records. Ridgeland police also found and seized a tan Chevrolet Malibu in Jackson. Lakendric Cortez Francis, 16, of Canton, was driving on I-55 Saturday afternoon when he was shot and killed near the Renaissance at Colony Park. A passenger in Francis car was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
