York man arrested for outstanding drug, weapons possession charges in Dover Township

York Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of a 19-year-old city man wanted on felony drug and weapons possession charges.  Anthony A-Rod Colon is believed to be a person of interest in several recent shootings and shots-fired incidents in the city, police say. Colon was arrested on Feb. 14, 2020 for felony drug possession on the 1000 block of N. George St., police say. He was released on supervised bail following his arrest, according to police. Last month, Colon allegedly sold a quantity of heroin to undercover agents with the York City Police Narcotics Unit, police say. 

Former Lancaster man who skipped 2014 trial arrested in Dominican Republic: police

After eluding police for more than six years, a former Lancaster County resident was arrested by U.S. Marshals in the Dominican Republic in January. Marshals with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Oneximo Mendez, 49, without incident on Jan. 19, police said in a news release issued Wednesday. Mendez - a former resident of the 500 block of Green Street - became a fugitive after he failed to appear for a September 2014 trial in Lancaster County Court to face a slew charges, including rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault, criminal solicitation, sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors.

Menomonee Falls PD: Suspect spent $5K+ with stolen credit cards By FOX6 News Digital Team Published  Theft suspect (Courtesy: Menomonee Falls Police Department) MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - The Menomonee Falls Police Department has asked the public for help identifying a suspect who allegedly used stolen credit cards to rack up more than $5,000 in purchases. Police said the suspect stole a wallet from a Metro Market shopper s purse on April 1. The suspect then used credit cards from the purse at a Milwaukee Sam s Club and a Wauwatosa Dick s Sporting Goods spending over $5,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Menomonee Falls Police Department at 262-331-0273.
