BISMARCK – North Dakota’s oil production made a slight dip again with 1.192 million barrels of oil produced in December 2020. In November 2020 the state produced 1.227 million barrels of oil. The most recent figures were released by the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources on Friday. Lynn Helms, director of the Mineral Resources Department, said in his report the OPEC+ agreement to cut 7.2 million barrels per day expired. He said OPEC+ met on Feb. 3 “emphasizing the ongoing positive contributions of the Declaration of Cooperation in supporting a rebalancing of the global oil market and noting the significant additional voluntary supply adjustment made by Saudi Arabia, taking effect on 1 February, 2021, for two months.
