TRACKING THE COVID-19 VACCINE Share Updated: 3:10 PM EST Mar 11, 2021 Officials have identified a body that was recovered from the Merrimack River in Andover Sunday afternoon.The Essex County District Attorney s Office said a dog walker spotted a man s body in the water about 15 yards from shore on Sunday.The body was identified as Moses Harris, 25, of Lowell. He was last seen on Dec. 19, 2020.Officials said foul play is not suspected.

The 34-year-old man killed following a fight Thursday afternoon at a Winter Street home was identified this morning as John Rosado.
At the arraignment of his accused killer, 35-year-old Diecryk Garcia, the Essex County District Attorney’s office charged Garcia struck Rosado in the head with metal pipe. Garcia, who lives at 127 Winter St., where the murder took place, was ordered held without bail by Haverhill District Court First Justice Cesar A. Archilla.
Archilla also entered a plea of not guilty on behalf of Garcia, who is charged with murder. Garcia was also ordered to undergo a competency evaluation before a probable cause hearing Monday, March 29. If Garcia is found competent, Essex County District Attorney Jonathan W. A 34-year-old man is reported dead after suffering what the Essex County District Attorney’s office called “blunt force trauma” after an “altercation” Thursday afternoon on Winter Street in Haverhill
Carrie Kimball, spokeswoman for Essex County District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett said 35-year-old Dieryk Garcia of Haverhill was taken into custody. He will be arraigned on a charge of murder Friday in Haverhill District Court.
She did not identify the victim, but said earlier he was first taken to a local hospital with “life-threatening” injuries before being airlifted to a Boston hospital.
