Cirencester and Moreton in Marsh GP-led vaccination services are contacting over 65s to invite them for the Covid-19 vaccine. Residents and staff in the top four priority groups in Gloucestershire have now been offered a vaccination and over 160,000 people have received their first dose. This includes people aged 70 and over, people in care homes, the clinically extremely vulnerable and frontline health and care workers. The next priority group currently being invited to vaccinate includes over 65s and 16-64 year-olds with underlying health conditions. “What has been achieved across Gloucestershire is truly extraordinary,” said Dr Andy Seymour, clinical chair of NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group.
