Morristown Man Injured in Accident
The Rice County Sheriff s Office reports a 61 year old Morristown man suffered critical injuries in a collision with a pickup while on his motorcycle.
The accident call came in about 2:57 p.m. Sunday. It happened in the 11000 Block of 245th Street West or Jackson Avenue in Morristown Township.
The Rice County Sheriff s Department News Release states, Both were traveling westbound on 245th Street West when the pickup ran into the motorcycle. The adult male on the motorcycle was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital with critical injuries. People in the pickup were not injured.
The News Release continues, The male party was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
