Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has criticised the federal government over its hotel quarantine and vaccine rollout failures.
He says Prime Minister Scott Morrison should be held responsible for Victoria's latest lockdown due to inaction on state and federal-managed isolation.
Mr Morrison had promised to increase intake numbers at the Howard Springs quarantine facility in Darwin by April or May but there's been no rise in incoming travellers.
Mr Albanese claims it shows a sense of complacency within government.
Labor is closer to announcing its support for the government’s massive $130 billion stage three tax cuts, but the treasurer continues to highlight the party’s internal divisions over fiscal policy.
The Australian is reporting Labor will not move to repeal the $130 billion tax cut and will also not opt to extend and entrench the Low and Middle Income Tax offset if it forms government at the next election.
Labor hasn’t confirmed its tax policy and isn’t expected to do so for some months despite Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese declaring in March he would announce the party’s policy once the government delivers the budget.
Treasurer Josh Frydenberg highlighted the division in the Labor Party over stage three of the government’s tax plan during Question Time on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the federal government’s commitment to saving lives and livelihoods has allowed Australia to face the significant challenges posed by COVID-19.
The Coalition is facing heavy scrutiny after Victoria was plunged into its fourth lockdown with Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese labelling the government’s attempts at dealing with the ongoing pandemic a failure.
“I have had two very important jobs from the day this COVID pandemic first hit this country, in January of 2020, to save lives and to save livelihoods,” the prime minister said.
“That is what our government has been working to do in concert with all state and territory governments around this country and, most importantly, with the people of Australia whether it is frontline health workers or those keeping Australians employed in their businesses.
