The crowd was hushed and people sobbed audibly as she composed herself while MC Julia Zemiro angrily told cameras to back off. “My story was on the front page for the sole reason that it was a painful reminder to women that it can happen in Parliament House and can truly happen anywhere,” a strained and visibly distressed Higgins told the crowd.
