Pundits, armchair analysts, paid operatives, compromised journalists and media houses are having a field day blasting and censuring Ethiopia following the adventurous attack of the erstwhile TPLF cabal forces on the Ethiopian Defence Forces of the Northern Command. Just to briefly recall: The cabal forces attempted a fatal putsch by mercilessly and cowardly slaughtering the national army in their sleep. This triggered a fantastic and thunderous response that ended up consuming the plotters. This remains the undisputed narrative openly and officially acknowledged both by the victors and the vanquished alike.
This treasonous act was expressly and promptly condemned by a number of powerful entities including the former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. ADDIS ABABA, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) on Friday appealed for an urgent 107 million U.S. dollars to meet its emergency response requirements in Ethiopia s conflict-affected Tigray region.
The funding will help buy and deliver food for 1 million people and provide specialized nutrition support for 875,000 children and pregnant or nursing mothers after months of insecurity, the agency announced in a statement.
WFP s response, which was requested by the Ethiopian government, includes logistical support to both the government and humanitarian partners to deliver humanitarian assistance in Tigray, especially in rural areas.

ADDIS ABABA, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) The Ethiopian government on Wednesday disclosed that humanitarian assistance have been provided to some 3.1 million people in Ethiopia s conflict-hit Tigray regional state.
Some 3.1 million people have benefited from the humanitarian aid distributed in 34 districts out of 36 in the region, the Ethiopian Prime Minister s Office said in a statement.
The government s contribution to humanitarian assistance is said to be about 70 percent while international partner s share of assistance is 30 percent.
Noting that the delivery of non-food items is also underway with the support of 10 international NGOs, the Ethiopian government also said in order to ensure effective delivery and response, 10 clusters have been established based on international standards.
